The Cooking Quiz is one of the most innovative and successful educational competitions for culinary schools, now celebrating its 10th edition. Each year, it involves over 100 schools and 35,000+ students across Italy, offering a unique gamified approach to learning Italian cuisine, food culture, and contemporary gastronomic topics. Participation is completely free, making it an accessible and high-impact opportunity for culinary, enogastronomy, pastry, and bakery programs.

The competition unfolds in two phases: a tailor-made live lesson delivered directly by an ALMA chef or teacher, followed by an interactive quiz where students compete using their smartphones. Top-scoring classes earn access to the National Final, an exciting live event scheduled for 6 May 2026, where they compete for the title of International Cooking Quiz Champion 2025. Winners receive valuable prizes such as training at ALMA or an ALMA masterclass at their institute, a curated book collection from PLAN Edizioni, and exclusive gadgets for students.
