The Cooking Quiz is one of the most innovative and successful educational competitions for culinary schools, now celebrating its 11th edition. Each year, it involves more than 120 culinary schools across Italy, offering a unique gamified approach to learning Italian cuisine, food culture, and contemporary gastronomic topics.

For the third consecutive year, the project has also opened its doors to European culinary arts schools with great success, achieving strong participation and growing international engagement.

Participation is completely free of charge, making it an accessible and high-impact opportunity for culinary arts programs.

The competition unfolds in two phases: a tailor-made live lesson delivered directly by an ALMA chef or teacher, followed by an interactive quiz where students compete using their smartphones. This first batch is going to be held around February and March 2027.

Then, the top-scoring classes earn access to an exciting live European Final, where they compete for the title of International Cooking Quiz Championship in Italy, between April and May 2027.

Winners receive valuable prizes, including training opportunities at ALMA or an ALMA masterclass hosted at their school, and exclusive gadgets for students.
